Disco Inferno : Brown Women's Ultimate : Roster
Avery Reed #20

Born in a city that lives and breathes ultimate, Avery cut her ultimate teeth in the pee-wee leagues of Seattle and hasn't looked back since. Her most recent stop on her world domination tour: Junior Worlds where she represented America admirably. Her next stop: Disco spring season '09 where she is sure to make a bang. Avery may be sweet off the field, but on the field she is pure power. Her Ds are phenomenal, her cuts are fast as lightning and her offensive grabs are slightly sickening. She lays out at the drop of a hat, cuts deep, throws deep, plays as a handler, power cutter and deep at the same time. Watching her, you can't help but ask: is there anything this girl can't do? And the answer is, yes. Avery can rarely find the time to sleep. Between her ultimate addiction, crazy RISD course load and volunteer work, there is nary a bit of shut eye. But that doesn't stop her. Indeed, critics across the nation have noticed that Avery plays ultimate better when she is giddy and delirious from lack of sleep. When not found on the ultimate field, Avery can be found drawing, designing fashion, picking fabric, pinning, sewing, hemming, working, working and working. RISD is the best….go NADS!
