With a background in volleyball and soccer, its no wonder how frisbee comes so easy to Emma "Basil-dino" Smaldino. The way she attacks the disc in the air or goes down on the ground to catch a low one, Disco Inferno is lucky to have such a great athlete playing on the team. Even though we could consider Emma a great italian import, her hometown is long island new york, but i'd say she's more of an italian rather than a new yorker. Emma is currently working on her undergrad in italian studies and next year, she will be getting her masters in education. awe yeah! who wouldn't be hot for teacher when Emma's at the blackboard? Not only is Emma savvy in education and translating italian workbooks but she cooks too, making delicious salads and pasta sauces for the team with her own italian flare. Having Emma on the team for another year is a definite plus. She lends her frisbee knowledge to her teammates and sets examples on the field of never giving up, even during a tournament's third game of the day. Emma's positive energy and awesome call out of the stack "Bah-sil!" keeps Disco Inferno's fire burning!
