We study numerically two-dimensional lattice models for amorphous plasticity. We consider variations of the random fuse models that incorporate plastic slip and lattice models of amorphous plasticity based on the elastic Green's function. As the system is loaded, numerical simulations show power law slip avalanches described by mean-field exponents with a stress dependent cutoff. In the plastic flow regime the avalanche exponent crosses over to a lower value as slip localizes into shear bands. We discuss analogies and differences with analogous phenomena in crystal plasticity.
