What experiences were you able to gain in biotechnology during your undergraduate years at Brown?

I did research at Carnegie Mellon University the summer after my sophomore year.  I had an UTRA to do research the summer after my junior year, and then continued my research for my honors thesis.

What advice do you have for undergraduates seeking summer positions?

Use any connections that you have, and start looking early!

What are your plans for next year?

I am going to graduate school, for a PhD in bioengineering at University of Pittsburgh.
