What are the drawbacks? I like knowing that our science can make a great difference in the world. I like working with many smart people. I like hearing about the progress of science. I don't like worrying as much as I need to worry about financing risk. What advice do you have for someone who is thinking about pursuing a career in your area? Open up your eyes. Be an expert in some area, but also understand the bigger picture. Understand strategic context. What do you look for in a potential job candidate/ what qualities are most important for someone in your field? Ability to work with others. Expertise and flexibility.
