BS
in Business Administration RIT. Not for my work.
Experience is the key.
What
positions did you hold before your current position (what other jobs led
you to where you are now)?
CFO
of two Biotech companies (I have no accounting background), General
Manager of a small importing company. 7 years working for a large
biotech consulting firm.
What
are your favorite aspects of you job? What are the drawbacks?
I
work for myself, I never have to do the same thing twice. There is
tremendous intellectual stimulation and always something new to
learn. No drawbacks.
What
advice do you have for someone who is thinking about pursuing a career
in your area?
Read
the industry rags and websites on a daily basis (biospace,
fiercebiotech, biocentury, bioworld)
What
do you look for in a potential job candidate/ what qualities are most
important for someone in your field?
Understanding
of science and business, top writing skills, multitasking
