What advice do you have for
undergraduates seeking summer positions?
Start early. Approach professors about
lab positions as early as the preceding fall semester. Be willing to

that pays more but doesn’t give you inroads into a good lab.
What are your plans
for next year?

offer to do a Masters of Science in Bioengineering at Stanford University.
Which graduate
schools did you apply to?
Stanford University,
Harvard University, Yale University and University of California San Diego

Location, strength of program, faculty
and sub-discipline specialties.
What advice would you give to seniors
applying to graduate school?
Focus on your specific research interests
with your long term academic and career goals in mind when considering
which schools to apply to and accept.
