What positions did you  hold before your current position (what other jobs led you to where you are now)?

This is my first full time position. During college I did summer internships both in the lab and in hospitals in addition to doing research my senior year.

What are your favorite aspects of you job?  What are the drawbacks? 

My  favorite aspect of the job is that we get to learn about many different types of technologies in depth. My knowledge of the biotech industry has expanded greatly since I started working here.

What do you look for in a potential job candidate/ what qualities are most important for someone in your field?

We look for people with bachelors or advanced degrees in the life sciences who also have a strong interest in the biotechnology field. We also look for people who are motivated and are able to understand and analyze information in patents and technical literature.
