Tobacco Smoke



Smoking causes 30% of cancer deaths, mainly cancer of the lung, upper respiratory tract, esophagus, bladder and pancreas. The probability that smoking will lead to cancer depends on the frequency of smoking, the tar-content of the cigarettes/cigar and the duration of the habit. It is recommended to quit smoking and increase you intake of beta-carotene which may help prevent lung cancer.
