İİİİİİİİİİİİİİİ The subject population consisted of adolescents from the age of 13 to15 who were enrolled in RIte Care (as part of their parentsí federal and state welfare benefits) and who had appointments at Hasbro Childrenís Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island between September 1999 and March 2000.

İİİİİİİİİİİİİİİ Below you will find the characteristics of the population, broken down by race and sex.İ ìRaceî was determined by Lifespanís race classification system (See Table 1).İİ Zip codes of the residences of the enrolled subjects were collected through the Hallet Prevention Initiative tracking system at the Department of Ambulatory Pediatrics at Rhode Island Hospital.İ However, due to time restraints, zip code information could not be processed and therefore is not presently available for comparison purposes.
