Like the journal exercises, discussion sections provide you with ways to interact with and share your experiences and ideas with others. Your journal is an open door to watching animals and thinking and it is your best way to interact one-on-one with those of us teaching the course. Nevertheless, discussion sections add another dimension which we cannot stress enough. You are required to attend all discussion sections. If you cannot make a scheduled section, please contact your teaching assistant immediately. All Sections will meet in TBA. In the section topics area of this site, you'll find the topics you will need to think about before arriving at section. Please prepare well before section -- 15 minutes of preparation just before class will not be sufficient! The list of students in each section will help you get to know the others in your group. You want to interact cooperatively with them -- everyone gains from that. Have fun!
