Giardiasis (duodenum)
This duodenal biopsy is from a child with malabsorption. Numerous trophozoite forms of G. lamblia are seen on the luminal
surface of the duodenum. These organisms do not invade and usually reside in the duodenum in contrast with Entamoeba histolytica.
