Verrucous carcinoma of larynx

 

 

Verrucous carcinoma is a well-differentiated variant of squamous cell carcinoma that lacks

metastatic property.  The lesion shows marked surface keratinization arranged in “church-spire”

configuration with bulbous rete pegs pushing into the stroma.  No dysplastic features are found.
