Adenoviral pneumonia

 

 

The left photo from the lung of a patient with adenovirus infection reveals hemorrhage and necrosis. Such foci often surround

initial necrotizing bronchitis and bronchiolitis (not shown here). The small photos illustrate typical nuclear inclusions of adenovirus.
