Congenital pulmonary lymphangiectasis

Marked distension of pleural and interstitial lymphatics is shown. The condition may be isolated to the lungs. Congenital

heart disease with pulmonary venous obstruction is a frequent setting for this disorder. Lung involvement may also be

a part of a systemic disorder with lymphangiectasis in many organs such as bone, small intestine, and soft tissues.
