Condyloma acuminatum
The specimen is a bladder with attached urethra. The bladder has been opened and the entire urethra and bladder mucosa is covered by squamous epithelium showing condyloma acuminatum which appears as a finely filigree pattern covering the bladder (the urethral component is less obvious grossly). The lesion arose from ascending movement of condyloma from the vulvar vestibule to the urethra and then to the bladder. Such extensive involvement of urinary tract is rare but is a part of the lower genital tract HPV syndrome.
