Autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD)

 

 

Note the bilateral enlarged cystic kidneys. Unless discovered early because of known family history

these patients usually present in middle age with hypertension or renal failure. They frequently have

berry aneurysms and sometimes present in their youth with subarachnoid hemorrhage.
