The Local Hydrologic Cycle In a Watershed*
This website strives to teach the main concepts behind the hydrologic cycle and water budgets. The hydrologic cycle is what keeps the earth's water supply in motion, so it is helpful to understand this process. A way to learn more about a particular system is by creating a water budget, which is done by balancing the input and output flows. The water budget of the Palmer River Watershed in Massachussetts is used as an example to explain the process of balancing water. Please follow the links below to to learn more about the hydrologic cycle.
