Today's Athenaeum Row looks similar to what it may have looked like in the late 19th century.  Recent period renovations at 257 Benefit Street, otherwise known as One Athenaeum Row, have shown that with today's scientific advances, the smallest paint fragment can be analyzed to create a perfect match of the original paint.  Despite efforts to modernize One Athenaeum Row with a top of the line kitchen and high-speed internet connection, the house still manages to maintain its historic feel.  The separate guest and servant dining room doors still in their original form, continue to remind us of its past.
