Local Voices

We conducted Rapid Rural Appraisal (RRA) interviews in five different villages in the Kuruman area: Seven Miles, Ga-Mopedi, Sedibeng, and Ncweng, RRA is a qualitative and participatory research method that prioritizes local involvement in the collection and analysis of information. The voices of the residents we spoke with were invaluable in understanding the impacts of asbestos mining on their lives and villages.
