IV. Amendment Procedures

These procedures were put into effect as of June, 1997 by vote of the Faculty of the Department of American Civilization, taken after consultation with the Graduate Student Consortium. It was voted at that time that these procedures should remain in effect until such time as they may be formally rescinded by vote of the Faculty taken after consultation with the Graduate Student Consortium.

However, the Faculty shall have the power to make exceptions to these procedures in individual cases for good and sufficient reasons by vote at any regular meeting.
