Areas of Interest:
My research focuses on educational nonprofit programming aimed at recent migrants and their children in Nashville, Tennessee. Specifically, my work examines how this programming informs notions of citizenship, civic engagement, and belonging for both migrant and migrant descendent learners from across the Global South and their ‘native’ teachers.
Previous research focused on youth, social media, and trust.
