Areas of Interest:
I am interested in the archaeology of Mesoamerica, specifically monumental architecture during the Preclassic Maya period (ca. 1000 B.C.E. - 250 C.E.). I will be conducting dissertation fieldwork at the Preclassic site of El Palmar, Petén, Guatemala as part of the Proyecto Arqueológico El Zotz under the direction of Prof. Stephen Houston. I am also interested in Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
