Biography
My research relates to the identification of genetic variation that is associated with psychiatric and behavior phenotypes. I actively collaborate on over 40 projects with investigators at Brown, affiliated hospitals and collaborating institutions around the country. Research topics span addiction phenotypes (alcohol, nicotine, cocaine, and opiates), anxiety phenotypes (PTSD), Mood phenotypes (depression), behavior phenotypes (sleep) and pharmacogenetics (the use of genetic profiles to predict
medication efficacy and side-effects) among others.
