Cognitive Neuroscience

Cognitive Neuroscience is a branch of cognitive science that seeks to understand the brain bases of cognitive processes like language, perception, memory, decision making, and reasoning. To address questions relating mind and brain, cognitive neuroscientists at Brown apply cutting edge methods, including functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), electroencephalography (EEG), neuropsychological testing, pharmacology, genetics, deep brain stimulation, and intracranial recordings.
