Theory and Methods of Foreign Language Teaching (Spring)

Independent Language Study

Students who wish to study languages not available in regularly scheduled University courses may do so in individual or Group Independent Study Projects. Those interested must submit proposals on a form provided by the office of the Dean of the College for review by the College Curriculum Council [consult the guidelines for such projects in the Catalogue of the University]. For advice on preparing and submitting such language proposals, students should contact Merle Krueger, Associate Director of the Center for Language Studies. University credit may also be given for study of less-commonly taught languages abroad.
