The Love Song of Hephaestus:
Working Men and Women Unite!

Mark David Asher

I and Aphrodite meld.
This hammer wield
I love to forge.
She loves me
Ambidextrous
Till the both are sprained
And
Lambasted
Waste we sprawling away.
Tongues-twisted
Kisses
Loose I breathe
And blow
Like bellows to her embers.
