Directions
The Classics Department is located in Macfarlane House, 48 College St., just down the hill from the Van Wickle Gates and Rockefeller Library (directions to the Gates).
Macfarlane House hosts the offices of most of our departmental faculty, the Couch Library, graduate student lounge and work spaces, and a seminar room - the site of most graduate seminars and departmental lectures. The Department's main office is also located on the first floor.
Parking
Caveat autocinetistes! ("Let the driver beware") Parking is at a premium around campus (map: .pdf or .jpg). Although those arriving after business hours should have little difficulty parking within a few blocks of Macfarlane House, visitors are encouraged to allow enough time to find parking. The streets off Prospect Street to the north of campus are usually the best bet for daytime parking.
Maps
For a map and driving directions, see Yahoo Maps. Campus maps, accessibility maps, parking maps, and a welcome map (which helpfully includes the orientation of one-way streets) are available from the Department of Facilities Management.
