December 5, 2005 7 PM The Classics DUG invited you to the annual Latin Carol Celebration and a DUG reception with free desserts and hot drinks at 7PM in the basement of the First Baptist Meeting House (75 North Main Street). Then, we headed upstairs for the main event--the Carol Celebration itself was a unique Brown tradition, and included speeches, readings, and songs in Latin and Greek. It was also very well-attended, and was a great chance to take a break from studying and catch up with other Classics students.

October 1, 2004: The first informational meeting was held on September 22, 2004 in the Lower Blue Room. Students completed surveys about DUG activities that would interest them. The most popular activity option was a mixer with the faculty, so the first event will be a department reception.
