Artists-in-Residence

Spring 2008 Grant Cycle

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: January 3, 2008

Funds will be awarded for residencies to take place during academic year 2008-2009. Click here to request an application. Deadline for submission is February 15, 2008.

Please note this is the last spring artist-in-residence grant cycle. Beginning in Fall 2008, Fitt Endowment grants will be offered in the Fall semester only, for residencies to take place during the following academic year.

Through support from the Lawton Wehle Fitt ’74 Endowment for Artists-in-Residence, distinguished artists from fields such as creative writing, dance, digital media, film, fine art, music, theatre, and visual art are invited to come to Brown University for a period of residence from 1 week to one semester. Selection criteria includes reputation, interest in working with students, and impact on program/curriculum.
