Education

The Brown University residency program in Diagnostic Radiology is a four-year program which offers state-of-the-art training in all aspects of diagnostic and interventional radiology. With a dedicated faculty of over 60 fellowship-trained radiologists, the Brown program provides residents, medical students and fellows a rich educational environment. Our residents rank among the top in the country, consistently placing in the top 5-10 percentile on the national board examinations.

The residency program currently accepts seven residents per year. One-year fellowship positions are offered in vascular and interventional radiology with three candidates accepted annually and body imaging, with two candidates accepted annually. A comprehensive fellowship in women's imaging was established in 2009 and is currently accepting two candidates per year.
