Rockefeller East Asia Collection
Brown has a collection of books in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean located in the Rockefeller Library. They are accessible to all students and located on level 3.
East Asian Studies Library
The department has a library of books in East Asian Languages, including many dictionaries, that students can use as a reference. We also have books about the culture, economy, and society of East Asian countries, written in English. Additionally, we receive a number of periodicals. These include: "The Chinese Pen" (literature from Taiwan, in English), Japanese Newspapers (in Japanese), and various other supplements in Chinese, Japanese and Korean. The library is located at 333 Brook Street, room 201. Books must remain in the library.
Magazines and Newspapers
The department subscribes to several newspapers and magazines. Current issues are located in the entryway of 333 Brook Street.
