***Honors Announcement: Professor Loury is pleased to announce that he is the 2005 recipient of the John von Neumann Award, given annually by the Rajk László College of the Budapest University of Economic Science and Public Administration to "an outstanding economist whose research has exerted a major influence on the students of the College over an extended period of time." Previous recipients of the von Neumann Award include such renowned economists as John Harsanyi, Gary Becker, Avinash Dixit, Janos Kornai, Jean Tirole, and Oliver Williamson. Professor Loury will travel to Hungary in September 2005 to receive this award, where he will also present a series of lectures on his current work. Read Prof. Loury's Neumann Lecture
