Eduardo Lopez, En-Ling Wu, and May Mark, were all selected as one of 25 fellows in the country. These students selected a mentor from Brown to guide a summer teaching-experience project, which they will present at a Fellows conference in August to other Fellows and their mentors. This year's mentors are Bil Johnson, Margaret Chang of the Ventures Consortium and Polly Ulichny. We have RBF Fellow MAT alumni at Brown and several accepted into next year's cohort, from around the country. The network of RBF Fellows creates a professional support group for teachers of color to support them in their first years in the profession and in sustaining their commitment to teaching in our public schools. This is the first year that Brown has had three recipients of the fellowship.
