Education 2090: Literacy Across the Curriculum
Focuses on three major areas of pedagogy: literacy across the curriculum, special education, and teaching English Language Learners. Topics include: current theory and practice in the three areas, legal requirements for special education, planning for differentiated instruction, assessment and diagnosis of student skill levels, measuring and reporting student achievement, adapting content for ELLS, selecting and working with texts, and effective vocabulary instruction.
