Laura has come to Brown from the University of California, Berkeley where she is currently completing her doctoral work. Laura brings a wealth of both teaching and school administrative experience, along with research interests that range from issues around project-based learning to the use of drama in teaching literacy. Her current research looks closely at the ways that the new teachers are assessed.

I welcome the opportunity to meet prospective students at our MAT Open Houses on November 6 and December 5. I will be conducting individual informational interviews on November 6th and December 4th. I also do informational interviews on Skype for candidates who cannot travel to Brown. Fall 2009
