Barrett Specs for RC car:

Design a computer-controlled guidance system for an RC car
(Mayhem, from Radio Shack). The guidance system will include
a UHF uplink for feedback from sensors on the vehicle.
The movements of the vehicle will be controlled by signals
originating from a LabVIEW program and ultimately affecting
27 or 49 MHz transmission of instructions (of translation
and rotation) down to the car.

The goal for the car will be to move off at a random initial orientation and
travel through a 25 ft figure-8 shaped oval, with a movable obstruction at the midpoint,
to knock down a goal block (wood) at the other end of the oval.

At the start of a test, the car will be placed at an orientation± 45 °
w.r.t an axis from the start to the goal. The car will have 60 sec to find
the goal and knock it over. Once the program is started, no human
intervention is allowed. The program must succeed in 2/3 different start positions.
