CES Wiki
As plans progress for the demolition of the UEL, the Center’s relocation to 2 Stimson and then to Metcalf, Pam O’Neil, Associate Provost, writes us a letter:
Dear Members of the Center for Environmental Studies;
The CES community has expressed the desire to have a mechanism for all to provide input to be used by both the administration and the planning group. To that end, the department of facilities management has set up a wiki collaborative space for the Center's relocation planning process. The value of the wiki is that all of us can contribute to the space using simple editing tools. It provides a mechanism for sharing information and viewpoints in a completely transparent way.
You can access the wiki at: https://wiki.brown.edu/confluence/display/cesrelocation/Home
All members of the Brown community have access to the space for viewing and commenting. In addition, files can be uploaded. Click on the words “Log In” in the top right hand corner of the page. Use your standard username and password; this will allow you to add comments and attachments.
Post a comment on the home page by clicking “Add Comment”, in the lower left hand corner of the page. Browse the information in the attachments tab, which is used to upload documents (spreadsheets, PDF files, PowerPoint presentations, etc.) for all to view. Add an attachment by clicking the "Browse" button and then the "Attach File" button.
If anyone has difficulties using the wiki, please contact Lichen Grewer at
The site currently contains information on the work of facilities management and feedback collected from the student members of the planning group. The university has considered this feedback in the decision making process. We hope to learn more from the CES community as you post your views on the site. We also hope that the faculty in CES can use this as a mechanism to understand student viewpoints as we move forward.
Sincerely,
Pam O’Neil
