Environmental Stewardship - 21777 - ENVS 0410 - S01
Challenges students to address the economics and logistics of implementing strategies to conserve resources and reduce the negative impacts of the built environment. The goal is to learn the rationale, process and technical aspects of the practice of environmental stewardship. Topics include cradle to cradle design, institutional change, and corporate environmental responsibility. Students collaborate in interdisciplinary teams on applied projects. Permission by instructor by application process prior to enrollment in the class.

ENVS0410: Environmental Stewardship - Class Application:
This course relies on student input and initiative for the direction and content of the class. In order to have the best environment for class discussion, interaction, field trips, and facilitation of projects, the goal is to have approximately 50 students. The intent is to include motivated students from various disciplines to foster the kind of interdisciplinary collaboration that is critical to addressing environmental issues and fostering stewardship.
