Jack P. Shonkoff, MD will be the featured lectrurer.
Dr. Shonkoff is well known for his integration of work from multiple scientific perspectives to address the problems confronting children in the early years of life.

Discussion will be provided by two of the founders of our current national policy and programs devoted to promoting positive development of preschool children.
Julius B. Richmond , MD was the first director of the national Head Start program

Edward Zigler, PhD was the first director of the US Office of Child Development
