General Information

As noted on the registration form, there are two conference hotels (the conference will provide shuttle service from each hotel to the meeting site on the Brown campus in the morning and evening):

The Marriott Courtyard is located in downtown Providence, near restaurants and shopping. This hotel is a 10-15 minute walk to the campus, which will also provide some exercise as it is uphill (and, of course, downhill at the end of the day).

The Providence Radisson is located near the waterfront, and is wallking distance to Wickenden Street, which has restaurants and shopping. The hotel has regular shuttle to downtown.

The Lipsitt-Duchin lecture will be held Wednesday 10/11 at 4PM. Richard Tremblay will be the featured speaker.

There will be a group dinner on Friday evening at a local restaurant. There will be seafood and vegetarian entree choices, as well as a cash bar and a cash oyster bar. Coffee and light snacks will be provided at the meeting in the morning. Other luches and dinners will be on your own (there are many fine choices).
