Anna Aresi

Anna Aresi is a first-year graduate student in the Italian Studies Department. She graduated from the University of Padua in Classics (2006) and in Italian Literature (2008), with a thesis about «Giovanni Giudici and Amelia Rosselli translators of Sylvia Plath». In 2008, she also spent one semester as an exchange student at UC Berkeley. Her main academic interests are theory of translation, stylistic criticism and late 20th century Italian poetry.
