About the LRC

The Language Resource Center (LRC) actively supports and promotes language, literature and culture instruction at all levels at Brown University. The LRC is committed to providing technical assistance, digital media and tools, informational outreach, training and curricular support to Brown faculty, students and staff engaged in the learning and teaching of languages, literatures and cultures. The LRC is intended to be a locus for international media at Brown and seeks to provide state-of-the-art facilities for media production, use and distribution.

Location and Hours

NOTE: The Language Resource Center will be moving to summer hours of operation on May 16, 2008. From May 17 through September 1, the LRC will be open from 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

The Language Resource Center (LRC) at Brown University is located on the 2nd floor of the Thomas J. Watson, Sr. Center for Information Technology (CIT). The CIT is next to the Sciences Library, at 115 Waterman Street.

The LRC is closed on Brown University holidays and during intersession breaks.
