Research interests: media ethnography and autoethnography; media advocacy; technologies of the photographed image; biopolitics; cultural and affective labor; postcolonial studies; contemporary Indian cinema; Marx; Foucault; race and everyday racisms; bolexes and old super-8 cameras; making small documentaries in my spare time; trying to live like a human being now that i'm done with prelims.
