Welcome To The House of X-PrZ

It's now 2000.

The last major revision of this site took place in 1998. This is primarily an archive of our installation work from 1992 - 1997. Recently, Mark and I have been working on sound (SWIPE), video, and some new billboard pieces.

In summer 1996 there was a SubUrban Remix of JST BCZ UR PARANOID... (Malcolm X Pt.1) employing six lightboxes and two video monitors. It was featured in the group exhibition "No Doubt: African-American Art of the 90s." Check out the review from the New York Times (7/12/96) linked above. That joint was organized by Renee Cox, my friend and collaborator in The Negro Art Collective. The show included work by 9 other artists and took place at The Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art in Ridgefield, CT.

NO SELL OUT... Malcolm X Pt. 2 (1995; 5:00; Stereo; Color)

This 512K Mpeg clip from the single-channel video is a short and silent excerpt from our most screened work. To see the installation proposal with image and sound samples, see THE FUTURE THAT NEVER WAS!.
