Major MCB and shared facilites include: the Imaging Facility, Bioimaging Facility, which houses two high-resolution transmission electron microscopes, a Confocal Laser Scanning Microscope with spectral capabilities, and a scanning electron microscope; the Animal Care Facility, a modern laboratory center fully equipped for animal maintenance and experimentation; a hybridoma facility, a research greenhouse; a DNA sequencing facility; a mouse transgenic and knockout facility including an ES cell lab. The program also maintains a student computer/word processing facility with Intel and Macintosh computers and laser printers.
