The studios support student and faculty research in video and audio processing, motion sensing systems, new controllers, sound synthesis, interactive and automated installations, DSP for sound and video, gesture analysis, and interactive audio/video systems for dance. Software systems include MaxMSP, Jitter, Isadora, ProTools, IRCAM Forum software, Final Cut, and common sound and image editing programs. Among the hardware systems available are the Very Nervous System, I-Cube, and Teleo.
