training fellowship (e.g., RWJ, BIRCH, etc), if that is the track the
resident plans to pursue.

It is expected that the
resident will pursue an academic career, and that the resident should
be pursuing this career during the third year and certainly by the
fourth year.
-
The resident will have
a paper accepted for publication by graduation.
