Ancient Greek and Medieval Latin Tools and Links

VOCABULARY PROGRAMS

These are good-looking and functional HyperCard stacks. You must have a Macintosh and either HyperCard or HyperCard Player to use these. They are modifications of the shareware stack Patricia's Greek (for New Testament Greek) by Lawrence Veinott. The latest version of this stack can be found at Larry's Home Page. I have entirely changed the vocabulary lists and the artwork.

Medieval Latin Vocabulary

The words in this stack come from the forthcoming Medieval Latin Workbook by Dr. John Lawless of Providence College, and a few internet sources.

Philosophical Greek Vocabulary

The words in this stack come from my reading of a few Platonic dialogues and the long out of print Philosophical Greek: An Introduction by Francis H. Fobes. (Chicago: University of Chicago Press, 1957-63)

You'll need to decode them with Stuffit Expander.
