Lecture
"Peak Effect and Bragg Glass Superconductivity"

Abstract
In this talk, I'll discuss the quest for an understanding of a peculiar property of type-II superconductors that the critical current peaks just before the superconductivity disappears. The drive to understand this peak effect anomaly has led to a much deeper understanding of condensed matter physics in general, most importantly the possible existence of a new state of true superconducting matter, Bragg Glass.
